Beach Vacation

Well, this is the last night of our beach vacation. We have enjoyed yummy seafood, including our favorite four, Oyster House, DeSoto's, Mikee's and Bahama Bob's. We even tried a couple of new things that we really enjoyed...Cafe Beignet and Franco's Italian.

The kids enjoyed go-kart riding, the arcade, and even a movie. All in all, it has been a great week here and it is going to be sad to leave tomorrow and come back to real life.

Leah LOVES the swimming pool and it is a fight to get her out when it's time to go in. She puts her floaties on and goes...no fear. We even got the annual beach pics, although, as you will see below, took much effort to get the most mediocre of pictures.

This first picture needs some explaining...it is definitely the worst picture we captured! You have to know what happened preceding this one. Basically Leah was d-o-n-e and she had this stick and was waving it around and got sand in LB's eyes and so then everyone was crying. Look close and I think you will see the whole thing play out.

This pretty much says it all!

Unlike the other two, she loved the sand.
