To quote a great song by Darius Rucker,
'It won’t be like this for long, one day soon that little girl (boy) is gonna be all grown up and gone. Yeah, this phase is gonna fly by, so, he's tryin’ to hold on. Cause it won't be like this for long.'
That song gets me every time. It's really about a dad and his little girl, but you can really say it's about kids in general. I was reminded this weekend how true the lyrics of that song are. Cole had two buddies over to spend the night and we they had a blast! We played baseball in the front yard, went to dinner, and then went bowling. (These boys can't get enough baseball!!)
I've got some fun pictures detailing the weekend. Yeah, it was crazy, chaotic, and little boys leave their stuff everywhere but it was worth it!

Little sis wanted to play so badly, she kept getting in the middle of the 'field' and holding the bat and trying to swing it.

Cole is waiting for the perfect pitch...he'll be waiting a while since Dad is all time pitcher and is not as accurate as the machine he is used to.

Reeves is in position to field the next ball...it wasn't easy to field since we were hitting tennis balls.

John is on first base...I'm sure he is talking some smack to the pitcher, aka Big Feet!
Dinner at LaBrisa. Outside so the boys could be as loud and crazy as they wanted.

John, our resident bowling expert, is explaining to me what place everyone is in and what the different symbols on the screen mean...smart kid!
John is giving Reeves the same run down he just gave me...Reeves was bowling at the time and now John has more updates.
It was such a great weekend and we had fun with the boys. They really are a great bunch of kids and I'm so thankful that Cole has such awesome friends to have fun with!

I saw on Megan's blog that you kind of partnered in the sleep-over and birthday events. Looks like they had fun!
That picture of your little girl with the bat is just precious!
